Restaurant chef Frederick Appelbaum really cooks with AMSOIL synthetic
motor oil -- in his 1987 Mazda RX7 Turbo, that is. "I was running
Castrol synthetic oil and burning a quart every 600 miles while getting
14 miles to the gallon local and 22 miles highway."
A switch to AMSOIL lubricants adds the spice he needed.
"The results are fantastic -- 1,200 to 1,400 miles per quart and 17 miles
per gallon locally and 28 on the highway.
Appelbaum was also able to save quite a few dollars by
downgrading his gasoline.
"I switched from using premium gas to regular without losing performance."
"This is my recommendation for anyone who uses oil --
Use AMSOIL and all their product."
He also recommends his Fig Riesling Sauce on Wild Boar
stuffed with Mushrooms.
