The #1 question is:
Can you repair cracks that have run
all the way across my windshield?

The only answer is that any time the crack
has run edge to edge, then the plane of the glass is now
physically in 2 separate pieces.

It lacks the physical integrity to hold itself together.
And even though I myself have successfully repaired
cracks over 2 feet long ... believe that the time involvement
is self defeating ... related to what else I could be doing in
the 3 hours plus ... that those projects take.

Because of this ... WE will NOT attempt any long crack repair.
IF we were willing to spend the time making the repair ...
the insurance companies are only going to pay for
crack repairs to a 6" length.
